I had a sturdy n smooth turntable that I had bought from a cake class which I attended ages back so I was looking for something similar. I bought a Wilton turntable which was no where near my expectation.. This is similar to my original cake decorating turntable, smooth, sturdy but nicer looking.. I make a lot of cakes and I love it ..
It comes with a cake decorating comb n an off set spatula.

It's working perfect without any problem but The bottom rubber lining came off.. when I bought it , it was 29.99 without the combs rubber spatula and only one offset spatula..
I always recommend it to my students..

This came so very well packed and protected with bags, foam, and the spatula was in a case as well as the scraper. The turntable is so smooth it has amazing bearings also it's silent (no sound at all while turning), for the price I think it's a steal now that i see the quality it has! Strongly recommend purchasing this rather than a cheaper one that makes a ton of noise and it's not smooth.

I've used this turntable for about 6 months now to decorate several cakes. It turns very smoothly and the base is solid and has a non-skid rubberized bottom which is very helpful. It's also a great-looking turntable, as opposed to the plastic ones. It's also helpful that it has lines that serve as guides to position your cake or cake board. My only complaint is that I have not been able to avoid it getting scratched, even though I am careful when I use it. But after the cake is decorated and I go to transfer it to a cake stand, when using the cake lifter I've put a few scratches on it. I would give this turntable 5 stars for performance but 2 stars for durability of the top, so I arrived at the 3-stars.

This revolving cake stand is the bees knees! I've decorated a few great cakes for my daughter's birthdays without using one of these, but this year I treated myself to this revolving cake stand and was astounded by how much easier it was to ice and decorate the cake. It revolves extremely smooth. It is heavy and sturdy. The base has a removable rubber piece to grip your counter and hold it in place. The spatula it came with is my new favorite! I highly recommend this item. You couldn't be disappointed with it!

I hemmed and hawed for such a while about this wheel. I looked at a number of them. There was one particular review in here that caught my attention and in it the author talked about how quiet it spun. The others I'd looked at were manufactured from plastic and the bearings make the same noise that those spinner toys for restless kids make. Not terrible, but silent is so much better. The spin is very smooth, the heavy dutyness of the cake wheel is impressive and instills a sense of confidence. I'm a beginner but I feel like I've just purchased the top of the line in equipment. I'd really urge someone that is going to make more than 4 cakes a year to go the five or ten dollars more and settle for better.

I am really happy with this cake turntable it was packaged really well and the icing spatula and the icing comb we're great additions. It grips nicely on the counter and I'm able to frost my cakes with ease. I did make the mistake of not putting a cake pad on top of the turntable because I was so excited I just put the cake on top of the turntable directly and when I was using the comb to frost my cake I accidentally scrotched the top of the cake turntable. I made sure to get a cake pad so that I would scratch the top of the turntable anymore. It worked wonderfully on top of the turntable and doesn't move out of place when am icing my cake.

The cake stand is OBVIOUSLY the star of this set.... So that's what this review is focused on.
It's AMAZING!

This thing has an extremely smooth glide.... the first time I gave it a spin, it IMMEDIATELY reminded me of a record turntable.

This is the only revolving cake stand I've ever owned and when browsing around I was going back and forth about getting a plastic one.
Decided on this metal one because I figured i'd have the option of using it as a display stand if I wanted to.
Sure enough, I was right!
It looks really nice AND It's built really well... Super solid.

Now, although I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, don't get me wrong, I kinda wish it had some sort of small push lever/button lock.
It's not a huge deal because I don't really find my self chasing my cake round and round...
... but I think it would just be a cool addition to such a nice stand.

That being said... the stand itself is PERFECT the way it is.
It gets the Job done.... AND it looks great.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and I think you will be too!

The bonus decorating items that came with it were also nice to have. I took the advice of a few reviews and do protect the stainless from cut marks. Pretty enough to keep the cake on it to serve if you like. Really like the circular guidelines on the top to help center cakes. Excellent product. packaging is also wonderful to keep it safely stored.
